  • 1 1/2 cups water

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soy-free bullion powder

  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos

  • 1 teaspoon lime juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon roasted sesame oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh or powdered ginger (depending on what you have, and your taste preference)

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard

  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper

  • Salt to taste

  • Hot pepper, to taste

In a small saucepot, whisk the bullion powder, garlic powder, ground mustard, white pepper, and hot pepper if using into the water, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking occasionally. Once the broth has come to a boil, remove from the heat and allow to rest for a minute or two before whisking the coconut aminos, lime juice, and sesame oil into the broth. Salt if needed, and serve immediately with hot noodles, or chill to serve with cold noodle dishes.
